History

WALDSTÄTTEN was born in Fribourg in 2020 with a simple idea: Switzerland deserved a brand of its own.

Our name is rooted in the origins of Switzerland, but our vision reaches far beyond them. We create clothing for every generation and for everyone who connects with what Switzerland represents: different languages, cultures and regions, united by a shared identity.

Designed in Switzerland and produced in continental Europe to our standards, our pieces are made to last. We work closely with our partners and favour short European production routes, helping to reduce transport distances and the associated carbon footprint. Our textiles are OEKO-TEX® certified and tested for harmful substances.

More than a clothing brand, WALDSTÄTTEN wants to carry a modern vision of Switzerland beyond its borders — one built on connection, openness and the strength of our differences.
