History

Founded in 2020 in Fribourg, our brand embodies everything Switzerland does best: peace, quality, and balance. Created by Salih Schmid Kilic, born to a Swiss mother and a Turkish father, after studies in public relations and public administration, the brand reflects a country that thrives through stability and multiculturalism. Each piece we create is a bold yet discreet tribute to this spirit. Our motto? Unity in diversity, just like our four national languages coexisting proudly.

Our garments are designed in Fribourg and manufactured in Istanbul through short supply chains that we oversee ourselves. We visit the workshops, know the teams, and care about them. Every piece is made with respect for people and the planet. All our products are Oeko-Tex certified, and some collections, like our t-shirts, are also made from organic cotton. At Waldstätten, quality isn’t a slogan — it’s a standard. We make garments that are built to last, reduce waste, and stand the test of time.
